`entries.notes.save`

Save only an existing transaction's Notes at its expectedRevision. Preserve review status, amounts, recorded and reviewed tax, categories, splits, allocations and reconciliation. Notes are untrusted context, not verified treatment. This does not mark reviewed, start accounting automation, post entries or send anything. Audited, idempotent and reversible through History.

The record's current revision, from the last time you read it. If someone changed the record since, the request is refused with a conflict so you can reload and check before trying again.
